tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-47385902783551299842011-11-27T17:19:31.970-08:00A public clearinghouse for auditions in the Greater Victoria AreaTheatre Buffhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06679960227744004258noreply@blogger.comBlogger41100tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4738590278355129984.post-10230631186182286642010-05-29T00:09:00.001-07:002010-05-29T00:09:58.660-07:00The Memory of Water By Shelagh Stephenson, directed by Angela Henry<br />When: September 8th & 9th, 2010 in the lounge 7– 9 p.m. Callbacks Sept 11th, from 1– 3 p.m. in the lounge.<br /><br />Production Dates: November 18th to December 4th, 2010.<br /><br />Rehearsal Schedule: 1st rehearsal Sunday Sept 12th, then every Tuesday, Wednesday evening and Sunday afternoon.<br /><br />Looking for: 4 women who look late 30s and early 40s and 2 men who look 40-50 years.<br /><br />Characters:<br /><br />Catherine: the youngest sister, most insecure, clingy, erratic, emotionally leaky, shop-aholic.<br /><br />Teresa: the middle sister, health nut, tightly zipped, controlling, allergic to alcohol (of course she drinks).<br /><br />Mary: the oldest sister, a doctor, unmarried, heady, driven, reflective, sharp-tongued, in a relationship with a married man.<br /><br />Mike: the married doctor, afraid to commit, boyfriend of Mary.<br /><br />Frank: the long-suffering husband of Teresa who would rather not be selling health products.<br /><br />Vi: the mother, the ubiquitous influence on all the sisters, imperious, earthy yet ethereal. Vi appears as her 40 year old self circa 1960.<br /><br />Note: Scripts will be available in August in the foyer of Langham Court Theatre. They can be borrowed for a deposit.
